Google Chrome - New internet browser of Google

I'm talking about one new internet browser of Google, it's call Google Chrome. The Google Chrome is now in Beta version but i think it's a wonderful browser at the momment because nothing about any exploit be found.

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

Some features of Google Chrome:

One box for everything


Type in the address bar and get suggestions for both search and web pages. In Google Chrome, you can get anywhere on the Web with one box. The address bar that sits at the top of the normal Google Chrome window simplifies your Internet experience by doubling as a search box. You can also use it to bookmark websites and stay aware about the security of a website.

Thumbnails of your top sites

Access your favorite pages instantly with lightning speed from any new tab. Every time you open a new tab, you'll see a visual sampling of your most visited sites, most used search engines, and recently bookmarked pages and closed tabs.

Shortcuts for your apps
Get desktop shortcuts to launch your favorite web applications.
Many websites, such as email services, operate like actual programs, similar to those on your computer desktop.
Open these websites just like any other programs on your computer. Create an application shortcut for the website you're on:

1. Click the Page menu .
2. Select Create application shortcuts.

Crash Control
Use the Task Manager to get details about a specific process running in Google Chrome, or to force a misbehaving tab or application to close.
For each active item in Google Chrome, you can monitor the amount of memory taken up, the amount of CPU used, and the network activity (bytes sent and received).
To force a misbehaving webpage or application to close in Google Chrome, select the webpage, then click the End process button. Try reloading the tab to see if the error persists.
It look like Task Manager in windows :D

Incognito mode
For times when you want to browse in stealth mode, for example, to plan surprises like gifts or birthdays, Google Chrome offers the incognito browsing mode. Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito won't be logged in your browsing and download histories; all new cookies are deleted after you close the incognito window. You can browse normally and in incognito mode at the same time by using separate windows.

When you are browsing form internet in incognito mode, all yours infomation will be deleted after you closed google chrome window or the tab you're now using. Oh my god, this new feature will be the best for who have children an dont want them to be shown web pages look so sexy or porn site that their parents accessed.

Safe Browsing
Google Chrome displays this warning if the web address listed in the certificate doesn't match the address of the website Google Chrome is attempting to access.
When you connect to a website that uses SSL to transmit data, the server which hosts that website presents Google Chrome and other browsers with a certificate to verify its identity. This certificate contains information such as the address of the website, which is confirmed by a third party organization that your computer trusts. By checking that the address in the certificate matches the address of the website, it's possible to verify that you're communicating with the website named on the certificate, and not someone pretending to be that website.

When you switch to Google Chrome, you can pick up where you left off with all the bookmarks and passwords from your existing browser

Import Settings
You ca import all setting about Web history, cookie, session ... from Mozilla Firefox, IE ... to Google Chrome anytime you want. You can pick up where you left off with all the bookmarks and passwords from your existing browser.

Download Manager built in Google Chrome make dowloading become easily and simply more than other browsers you knew. File after dowload will be display in Google Chrome and you can Open, Drag and drop to desktop or anywhere you want to paste.

So, these features above are main feature of Google Chrome, but sometime Google Chrome still be hardly to work with some java script in many web page. But, this is Beta, can be fix for next version. And ... no reason why not using Google Chrome

Google PageRank những điều chưa biết (Vietnamese)

Pagerank là một chỉ số quan trọng để so sánh tầm quan trọng giữa các website, chính xác hơn là giữa các Page. Mỗi lần Googe update PR cho các site hay hạ bậc PR của site lớn nào đó là lập tức lại xôn xao thành đề tài nóng hổi giữa các webmaster.



Với mục đích cùng hiểu rõ hơn về pagerank, chúng tôi xin đưa ra những điều mình biết về Google Pagerank để mọi người thảo luận.



1. Pagerank là một trong những công cụ Google đưa ra để đánh giá tầm quan trọng của một website





2. Google coi 1 link từ trang A tới trang B là một VOTE của trang A cho trang B. Tuy nhiên Google coi mỗi một VOTE có trọng số khác nhau phụ thuộc vào rất nhiều rất nhiều yếu tố khác nhau của trang A.





3. PageRank được xây dựng dựa trên các liên kết tới trang đó (incoming links), và được tổng hợp từ các yếu tố gồm số lượng liên kết, chất lượng và tính liên quan.



4. Công thức tính PageRank



PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + … + PR(tn)/C(tn)).



Trong đó PR(A) là Pagerank của trang A



t1, t2...tn là các trang liên kết tới trang A



C là số link outbound của trang nguồn t1, t2 ...tn đó (link ra ngoài)



d là hệ số suy giảm (hệ số tắt dần của chuỗi)



Nghe nhức đầu nhỉ, ví dụ nhé Page A của bạn có 3 trang page B (PR=6) page C (PR=3) và page D (PR = 4). Link tới



Page B có 3 link dẫn ra ngoài



Page C có 6 link dẫn ra ngoài



Page D có 12 link dẫn ra ngoài



Vậy PR của A = 0.15 + 0.85*( 6/3 + 3/6 + 4/12) =2 (xấp xỉ)



OK Biết thì biết vậy chứ việc tính toán thủ công khó có khả thi lắm, Ví dụ như Egoldviet.com mặc dù PR mới chỉ là 3 nhưng hiện nay có 13,000 backlink với vài trăm bài viết, việc tự tính toán PR coi như không tưởng. Tuy nhiên nắm được công thức rồi các bạn có thể chủ động hơn khi trao đổi liên kết với các site khác.



Chẳng hạn nếu bạn liên kết với một site PR =7,8 gì đó và site đó chỉ có 1 link outbound dẫn đến bài viết trên site bạn. Wow, quá tuyệt, bét ra bạn sẽ được PR = 6,7. Tuy nhiên nếu một site PR=8 mà bán text link cho hàng trăm link thì cũng đừng có vội mừng mà lao vào mua Ads Text với giá cao.



5. Pagerank được xếp hạng cho từng trang cụ thể chứ không phải cho cả site.



6. Mỗi link liên kết đến đều đóng góp một phần nhất định trong tính toán ra Pagerank nói chung, trừ các link hỏng hoặc từ các site đã bị down, bị banned.



7. Mặc dù được quy tròn theo các bậc chẵn từ 0-10 khi hiển thị, tuy nhiên PR thực sự là một số thực có phần lẻ và bạn phải tích cop dần từng điểm để nâng thứ hạng của mình. Đây là một quá trình đòi hỏi nỗ lực lớn.



8. Google thường update PR theo quí, vì vậy đừng quá nôn nóng sốt ruột, hãy tập trung phát triển nội dung và quảng bá.
